14k yellow and white gold brooch set with old-cut diamonds, navette rubies and cabochon emeralds, depicting two blossoming flowers in the center of a leaf. Austro-Hungarian Empire, before 1914. H: 6.5 cm, gross weight: 25.34 g. In its E. PALTSHO - Graben 14 - WIEN. House founded in Vienna in 1899 by Ernst Paltscho, himself trained by his father Karl. In 1914, he joined forces with Emil Biedermann and moved into new premises in the center of Vienna, under the name of Biedermann Paltscho. Maison Paltscho's illustrious clientele included the Austro-Hungarian aristocracy and the royal house of Greece.
